Ezio Poggio winery is now in its third generation and it is led by Ezio, the winemaker and Mary, his sister,  who graduated in pharmacy, but joined to the family business. In 2003 the two decided to bring back the Timorasso grape variety to the Borbera Valley making it the cornerstone of their winery production.

In this area, thanks to the peculiar altitude and the microclimate, the Timorasso grape takes on new characteristics, showing the exceptional versatility of this grape that never ceases to impress.

The wine tasting, that depending on the seasons, can take place in the cellar or in the garden under the gazebo, includes 3 wines (a still Timorasso, a sparkling Timorasso and a red or a rosé) paired with the typical products of the territory such as the Salame Nobile del Giarolo and the Montebore cheese.

By selecting the “full tasting” option,  the experience will include also the tasting of wines not included in the standard experience (5 in total) and the visit of the vineyard at Costa Merlassino (if the weather conditions are favorable).
