MovEat is a way to discover Quarto Piemonte through sport as well as our food and wine specialities.
Accompanied by the expert Azalai guides, a local institution in these kind of outdoor activities, you will experience a peaceful stroll through some gorgeous sceneries ending your walk in the yard of one of the local farmhouses or on a sun-kissed meadow, for a quick lunch where you will have the opportunity to enjoy some of the Quarto Piemonte delicacies.
An itinerary along the ancient route of the Salt Road, that through the upper Apennines, used to link the plain to the sea to transport the precious white gold. From Salogni, we will easily get to Bruggi to then start climbing up to the Seppa hill, from which starts the ridge that takes us to Mount Chiappo at 1700m , crossroad of routes and a panoramic spot from where, on clear days, you can almost see the waves of the Ligurian sea. Through Bocca di Crenna we will reach the top of Mount Ebro, wilder but just as beautiful, before going back to the shady woods where the Rifugio Orsi is located. The itinerary will conclude at Salogni, where at “La Baita”, an institution of this part of the Apennines, we will enjoy a hearty snack.
A demanding walk but with refreshment points that are worth the effort.
