Located in San Sebastiano, the Corona Restaurant and its owners, the Fontana family, welcomes their guests since 1702.
The menu follows two fundamental guidelines: the use of local, seasonal products and the recovery of traditional recipes. Besides some local dishes that are available all year round, like the Giarolo salame , the rolls of ham and mayonnaise in gelatine, the ‘bava di latte’ gnocchi, the chocolate bunet, the menu varies according to the season, to culminate in Autumn with the offer of a range of white truffle dishes.
The menu is strictly linked to the last century, when Mariuccia used to run the kitchen and Giovanni, together with their daughter Matilde, used to look after the customers and to produce the handmade ice cream that to this day is offered at the end of each meal at the Corona. The Restaurant is located in one of the buildings in the Old town and has several internal halls, an external area and a nice bridge that leads to the entrance.
Winter closure between Christmas and Easter.
