“The worker works with his hands, the artisan puts his heart into it, the wine maker needs both of these ingredients  together with a little bit of luck”.

Walter Massa, winemaker for generations, has always directed his energies into an obstinate and stubborn rediscovery of the Timorasso grape.

Over 30 years ago, Walter began to believe in the relaunch of this native vine, that almost got abandoned because of its poor yield, bringing it nowadays to be the maximum wine production expression as well as the ambassador of our territory, under the name  of  “Derthona”.

The wines that will be described to you are the purpose of a project that, without any prevarication, assigns the right roles to both the vineyard and the winemaker,  the cellar and the work in the cellar, to the land and its microcosm, to innovation and not fashion, to the right consideration of the distribution circuit as a whole with the utmost respect for the customer.

The experience includes the visit to the cellar and the vineyards (weather permitting), followed by a wine tasting that includes 3 wines, among which the unmissable Timorasso, paired with the gastronomic excellences of our valleys .

By selecting the  “full tasting” option, the experience will include the tasting of 2 extra wines (5 in total).
